Based on the amendment to the eIDAS Regulation (Regulation (EU) No. 910/2014), specificallythe newRegulation (EU) 2024/1183, a mandatory transition from theTLv5trusted list format to the newTLv6format is taking place throughout the European Union. Trusted Lists (TL) are official lists containing information on trusted trust service providers and their qualified services in accordance with the eIDAS Regulation. This change requires the rapid implementation of new technical standards associated with the transition to TLv6.
The need to implement new standards affects all organizations that verify electronic signatures, seals, and time stamps as part of their processes for handling electronic trusted documents. It therefore also has a direct impact on certain features of the ELDAx platform.
Expected date for the transition from TLv5 to TLv6
The final version of the amendment will be submitted to the European Commission for approval in the coming weeks, and it is expected to take effect sometime in June or July 2025. The European Commission notes that there will be no transition period.
Technical Information
TheELDAxplatformusesTrusted Lists for the following functions:
Validation of qualified electronic seals, signatures, and time stamps (/Validation module): a module and its functionalities used for external systems, such as eSSL.
Internal requirements within the Long-Term Archiving (LTA) process (/BASE module).
To ensure a smooth transition to TLv6, it is necessary to upgrade the part of the ELDAx platform responsible for processing Trust Lists. Since different versions of the ELDAx platform are in use in the customer’s environment, the upgrade procedure varies.
For versions 7.XXX and later, this is a zero-downtime update; the change does not affect the integration interface or any other platform features
For versions 7.XXX and earlier, this is a standard upgrade to the latest version of the ELDAx platform, which supportsTLv6
Given the significant impact on certain features of the ELDAx platform, we recommend upgrading as soon as possible. The latest version of ELDAx supports both TLv5 and TLv6 and is designed to ensure a completely seamless transition.

Preamble
In connection with the provision of the“ELDAx Q-validation: Validation of Qualified Electronic Signatures and Seals” service (hereinafter referred to asthe “Service”), provided by TECHNISERV IT, spol. s r.o. ID No.: 26298953, with its registered office at Traťová 574/1, Horní Heršpice, 619 00 Brno (hereinafter referred to asthe “Company”) offers to clients (users) as part of its business activities, the personal data of natural persons may be processed.
Scope of Personal Data Processed
The first name, last name, and title of the certificate holder, or the name of the entity on whose behalf the certificate holder signed the document (if included in the document title), the first name, last name, and title of the individual (the Service user or their representatives), username, email addresses, phone numbers, if provided, and any other personal data entered in the Service Agreement.

Methods and means of processing
All personal data will be processed by the Company to the extent necessary to comply with the legal obligations applicable to the Company, or to the extent necessary to fulfill a contract to which the data subject (Service user) is a party, in accordance with the principles set forth in applicable laws. The Company’s personal data processing principles, as well as the rights of the data subject, are governed by Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (hereinafter referred to as the “GDPR” or the “Regulation”), and Act No. 110/2019 Coll., on the Protection of Personal Data and on Amendments to Certain Acts, as amended.
The Company will process personal data using appropriate organizational and technical measures to protect it, which comply with the ISO 27001 standards established for information security management systems.
Only authorized personnel who have been trained in the handling of personal data and are bound by a confidentiality agreement will have access to personal data.
No automated decision-making or profiling will take place during the processing of personal data.
Personal data will not be transferred to a third country or to a foreign entity.
No Data Protection Officer has been appointed.
Processing time
Personal data processed to fulfill a legal obligation will be processed for as long as the legal obligation for which the data is being processed remains in effect; this period is generally 10 years.
Personal data processed for the purpose of performing a contract will be processed for the period necessary to fulfill the obligations and exercise the rights arising from the contract, i.e., for the duration of the contract, and generally for an additional 5 years after its termination, unless the law provides for a longer period. In the event of a dispute, this period will not end before the dispute is finally resolved.
